About the Symposium
In January 2026, the Governor signed S4510/A5761 into law, bringing a significant change to New Jersey’s custody statute, N.J.S.A. 9:2-4. The new law raises important questions about how courts will interpret it and creates new challenges for attorneys advocating for clients in custody cases.
This full-day CLE program is designed for family law practitioners at every level, whether they handle custody disputes regularly or only occasionally, and will provide the knowledge and strategies needed to represent clients effectively under the new law.
Cassie’s role as moderator reflects her experience in custody litigation and her commitment to helping shape how New Jersey’s family law community approaches these changes.
