Mr. Paone is a Senior Associate with the Law Offices of Paone, Zaleski & Murphy, which is located in Woodbridge and Red Bank, New Jersey. His practice is exclusively devoted to matrimonial litigation practice, including but not limited to, divorce, child support, child custody, equitable distribution, alimony, domestic violence, palimony and all other family law issues. Mr. Paone earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Muhlenberg College where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. Thereafter, he attended and graduated from Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School with honors, where he served as an Associate Editor of the Law Review.
Mr. Paone is admitted to the Bar of New Jersey. From 2013-2016, he served as a Deputy Attorney General for the State of New Jersey as a member of the Specialized Crime Unit. As a Deputy Attorney General, Mr. Paone tried cases before juries and appeared before Superior Courts throughout the state. Before joining the Attorney General’s office, he served as a law student extern to the Honorable Barry Albin of the New Jersey Supreme Court and served as a Chancery Division law clerk to the Honorable Glenn Berman and, later, the Honorable Ann McCormick.
Mr. Paone is currently a member of the Middlesex County, Monmouth County, and New Jersey State Bar Association. He serves as a Trustee of the Middlesex County Bar Association. Most recently, Mr. Paone served as President of the A-Team Chapter of Business Networking International. As President, John chaired regular leadership meetings, fosters quality business relationships, and assists with the development of mentor and networking programs in Monmouth County.
Notably, Mr. Paone was selected to Thomas Reuters Rising Stars list for 2020-2022.* This peer designation is awarded only to a select number of accomplished attorneys in each state.
