In honor of Women’s History Month, we celebrate Cassie Murphy, Esq., a partner with the Law Offices of Paone, Zaleski & Murphy in Red Bank, New Jersey. Ms. Murphy focuses her practice on family law, child custody, and divorce. She is a Certified Matrimonial Law Attorney. Only 186 lawyers in the State of New Jersey are certified matrimonial law attorneys. Most recently, Ms. Murphy was admitted as a Fellow to the American Academy of Matrimonial Attorneys. The Academy is the most prestigious divorce and family law bar association in the nation. Ms. Murphy is one of only approximately 60 family law attorneys in New Jersey selected. Ms. Murphy is admitted to the bar in New Jersey, New York, and the District of Columbia. She is a voting member of the Family Law Executive Committee of the New Jersey State Bar Association, currently serving on the General Legislation Committee, and in that capacity, also serving as Chair of the Domestic Violence Legislation Subcommittee. She also authors a monthly column, “Ask Cassie,” for the Navesink Journal and serves as an Associate Editor for New Jersey Family Lawyer, a publication of the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Family Law Section. Among other accolades, Ms. Murphy received the Martin Goldin Award for excellence in the practice of family law.
