In recognition of his continuous outstanding contributions and service to the Middlesex County Bar Association, John P. Paone, Jr. Esq., will receive the 2023 David Pavlovsky “Service to the Bar” Award. The award presentation will be held at The Park Chateau in East Brunswick during the MCBA’s 109th Annual Installation of Officers & Trustees Dinner on May 10, 2023.
The Pavlovsky Award was created in honor of the late David Pavlovsky, an active member of the Bar Association from 1935 until his passing in April 1995. David was the quintessential “Middlesex County” attorney, dedicated to his family, his profession, his community, and the Association. This year, the award is presented to Mr. Paone who carries on David’s commitment to service and represents the best of the Middlesex County Bar Association.
Mr. Paone has received many other accolades throughout his distinguished career in family law, including The International Academy of Trial Lawyers Award for Outstanding Ability in Courtroom Advocacy, the Middlesex County Bar Association Family Lawyer of the Year, the New Jersey State Bar Association Distinguished Legislative Service Award, the New Jersey State Bar Association Family Law Section 2002 Tischler Award, the Middlesex County Bar Association Family Law Section 2008 Schoifet Award, and the 2010 Distinguished Service Award, New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education.
