On June 9, 2023, the Law Offices of Paone, Zaleski & Murphy paid tribute to the late and great Monmouth County Assignment Judge, Lisa P. Thornton. Judge Thornton was loved and cherished by all who were lucky enough to know her, learn from her, and appear before her in court. Judge Thornton was a well-respected jurist who made a difference in the lives of the residents of Monmouth County. Her absence will leave a deep hole in the legal community, but her grand legacy will live on. The firm will miss her effervescent personality and her infectious smile.
